Meet - Founder & Proprietor – Light Year Advisory
My journey into investing didn't begin with money it began with books.
During college, a friend introduced me to reading, and it soon became a lifelong habit. In 2014, while pursuing CMA, I read Rich Dad Poor Dad. One lesson stayed with me: "Use your income to create assets that generate more income." That single idea changed the way I looked at money forever.
Soon after, Money: Master the Game introduced me to Mutual Funds and SIPs. Despite being a student living on pocket money, I started my very first SIP in September 2014—one that continues even today.
As my financial knowledge grew, I made difficult but informed decisions, including surrendering an unsuitable insurance policy and redirecting that money into long-term investments. After starting my career in 2015, I secured my future with Term and Health Insurance and continued learning about investing, financial planning, and human behaviour around money.
The market crash during COVID tested my conviction, but discipline over emotions helped us stay invested and achieve important family milestones.
Today, my mission through Light Year Advisory is simple—to help individuals and families make smarter financial decisions, build lasting wealth, and achieve financial peace of mind.
